This vintage model tether car was originally built in 1949 by a small model engineering company in Exeter, Devon and, powered by a 6cc petrol engine, it would in its day have been attached to a pole and raced around a circular track.  It’s now restored back to its former glory and the dreadful 1970’s, hand painted, primrose yellow gloss paint has been stripped off to refinish the model in an original factory colour.

With over 25 years experience working as a model maker in industry I have restored many other vintage, model related items.
